Blå Ögon season 1

Great series with a well put together story. The cast consists of just about everyone who has made a name for themselves in the various Swedish crime series. Too bad the speed and tension in this series varies too much. For example, it takes about 5 episodes to get going a bit, then the momentum starts to pick up but unfortunately drops again towards the end. The ending is constructed in such a way that there is a conclusion but there are also enough openings for a sequel, which still isn't there and probably won't come.
In terms of story, this could happen in just about any country. There are also some holes and stupid things in it; if you have an important document in your hands, the first thing you should do is secure a copy, even if it is on paper... .

Blå Ögon season 1

Louise Peterhoff's eyes are actually grey-green, but on the poster they are colored to bright blue. That color stands for youthful innocence and open-mindedness, but also for the false ideal of a pure Germanic race. It is a political thriller centered around two main storylines. On the one hand, there is the struggle and intrigue within the political parties, where a knife is sometimes stabbed in the back or a dark affair discussed in a back room. On the other hand, it is about a group of neo-Nazis preparing attacks. Perhaps it was inspired by Anders Breivik or groups like Blood & Honour. Together this gives a good balance between drama and action.

The most interesting characters are those who struggle with a dilemma. For example, there is the younger brother who does not want to betray his radicalized sister, or the moderate nationalist Olle Nordlöf who comes into conflict with his own party members . The best roles are for Louise Peterhoff, Karin Franz Körlof and Kjell Wilhelmsen. Gothenburg and some other cities in Västra Götaland come out beautiful and picture. It is another successful Scandinavian series, which should certainly be continued.
