Bimilui Soop plot
Bimilui Soop revolves around Hwang Si-Mok, a low-compassion prosecutor who embarks on a case involving a female police detective, Han Yeo-Jin, to solve a murder case. It soon becomes clear that important politicians have been bribed on a large scale in this case. This makes it anything but easy to catch the real killer. However, Si-Mok and Yeo-Jin do everything they can to ensure justice.

Beautiful series because I had no more viewing food, so I started this more than 16 hour series. And I must say it looked delicious even the music was good. The character of the empathetic accuser was very appealing to me. A big nine so 4.5* . On to season two which started August 15 in Korea and will be on Netflix in October according to my info. RECOMMENDED.

Another delightful South Korean series. 'Stranger' (2017) starts out as a fairly standard whodunnit, but turns into a corruption scandal that spreads like an ink blot. Full of intrigue, ethical dilemmas, shifts in loyalty and different fields of power. It is truly enjoyable when characters eavesdrop on each other in offices or the underlying tensions around shared rituals. With the immensely sympathetic public prosecutor Shi Mok (Cho Seung-woo) and policewoman Han (Bae Doona) as the moral centre. He has a lack of empathy due to a brain disorder, while she is perhaps a little too involved with the human side. Just like with 'DP' (2021- X), I am amazed at how they reduce such complex hierarchical relationships and different levels of government to gripping genre fiction.
