Beautiful costume drama, set in England during the Industrial Revolution, so the second half of the nineteenth century and it was mainly the nobility that invested in the new products, while the working conditions of the working class were abominable. But that is not what this series is about. It is about the shaky marriage of Frederick Trenchard and Clara Dunn and his troubled relationship with his brother, a minister, who Clara's sister has her eye on. Then there are the neighbors with a handicapped child and the child's doctor with modern ideas, who Clara has her eye on. And then we have a dubious lady from France and there are many secrets in the past. Wonderful, isn't it? Of course it is about nothing, but it is delicious. And as usual it is beautifully made. I enjoyed it.
