I think the

first 7 episodes of season 7

van Baantjer have beautiful themes.

I found the murder of Sinterklaas much less,

De Cock and the murder on the shipyard pretty good,

and the last episode De Cock reasonable with outside help.

Piet Romer is also acting very well in this season

as Decock.
