Quirky documentary series that explores the origins and evolution of sports and games around the world. The voice-over by Idris Elba gives the event the necessary class and the camera work is impressive, but the content of the series repeatedly leaves much to be desired. And not all episodes are equally captivating. Nice detail is that the direction is provided by the Dutch Thomas Kaan. It was filmed for four years, in 25 different countries, partly during the pandemic.
