Troppo plot
Police officer Ted Conkaffey is dishonorably discharged after being falsely accused of a deranged crime. He decides to flee and hide in the Australian outback. There he is recruited by Amanda Pharrell, an eccentric private detective with a criminal past. Together, the mismatched partners investigate the disappearance of a Korean technology pioneer. Then they discover a series of bizarre deaths, who are strangely related to each other.

Watched two seasons of this series. IMDb 7.5; I agree with that, a 7 for season 1 and an 8 for season 2. Good series, filmed in a beautiful setting. Each season has several storylines, but also a single narrative that runs through both seasons. The start of season 1 was slow and a bit clumsy. However, this changed for the better, and season 2 was much better. If you're hoping for a fast-paced series, don't watch this one; there's quite a bit going on in the personal lives of the various characters, interspersed with plenty of dialogue. It's performed by a great cast, including some familiar faces like Kelly and Ted. There's talk of a third season sometime in 2026.
