The Mob Doctor plot
dr. Grace Devlin is a promising young surgeon trapped in two worlds. In one, she's about to embark on a promising medical career, but in the other, she must pay off a lifelong debt to the Chicago mafia. Grace works at Roosevelt Medical Center in Chicago and quickly develops into a smart and confident doctor, considered one of America's best future surgeons. But because of her brother, she has a hard time escaping her Southside roots. Her brother has accumulated a lot of gambling debts and to save his life, Grace agrees to act as the mafia's doctor.
