Passenger plot
The story is set in the small village of Chadder Vale in the north of England. Riya Ajunwa, a former police detective, arrived five years ago and has been looking for 'that one big crime', that one challenge that will make her feel alive again. When a series of strange events and increasingly gruesome crimes occur in the village, the residents begin to resort to short-sighted theories and blame outside influences.
