Great series to pick up once in a while, with an entertaining mystery. Not grand and amazing, but enough to keep you enthralled.
The acting is hit and miss; for example the older male detective is doing well, his German female colleague on the other hand.. ai.
Furthermore, a solid crime series that is lighthearted at times, such as the rural atmosphere of Midsomer Murders, but also quite exciting at times. A combination that does not feel completely successful, but forward.

Actually not that good in the genre. Fairly entertaining as a snack, but no more. A number of characters are interesting (the psych), but most are not, or even annoying. The story feels a bit standard, doesn't really want to be exciting despite trying its best. Big pharma stuff seen many times.
The biggest flaw and the reason why I ultimately give it a failing grade: the completely pointless, forced and extremely annoying private drama-love moments: between Bobby and the quacker, but above between the 2 cops (and his crush cop and guy). Doesn't add anything to the crime story, only drags it down.
