Mordkommission Istanbul plot

The daily police work, unscrupulous crimes and daring fact-finding missions in the metropolis of Istanbul require the full concentration of Turkish detective Mehmet Özakin. He is characterized by passion, perseverance and a strong sense of responsibility. His team consists of his assistant Mustafa Tombul, who adds a comic touch with his fixation on his mother, and his superior Yilmaz, with whom he is constantly at odds. Inspector Mehmet Özakin does not shy away from any predicament in his investigation and even resorts to unconventional means outside the rules to advance the investigation.
