McMillan & Wife plot

The American police commissioner Stewart McMillan has a lot to do with crime in San Francisco, but also with his much younger wife Sally. Sally McMillan overpowers her husband in many ways and often helps him solve crime cases. The McMillans are part of San Francisco's upper class and welcome guests at all kinds of parties and charity events. Some of the crimes McMillan must solve take place during these parties, and Mrs. McMillan is on the scene to spot just that clue that her husband has overlooked.
