LOIS plot

Detective Lois Elzinga lives for her police work in Alkmaar and is used to the tough profession she has. She has no room for the outside world and leads a controlled, safe life that she has created for herself. After the early loss of both her parents, Lois's only confidant is her sister Tessa, who recently married and moved to Bergen with her wealthy husband. When a secret from the past surfaces, everything is turned upside down. Against the background of three violent cases involving murder, kidnapping and violent violence, her whole life comes to a head.
