Robert Goren is a detective of the Major Case Squad of the New York Police Department who penetrates the minds of the city's most dangerous criminals with the sole purpose of bringing them to justice. Together with his partner detective Alexandra Eames, they investigate cases with special victims and suspects, such as VIPs, government officials and artists.
