Jeanne Nogarède cannot let go of the old missing person case of Emma Vivian, a friend's daughter who disappeared on her way to school five years earlier. Then an AI video surfaces on the internet that sheds a completely different light on the case. Jeanne throws herself back into the case, while meanwhile having her hands full with her mother suffering from dementia and her two teenage sons.
