Jana - Märkta för Livet plot
When the head of the Swedish migration agency is found murdered in his home, the list of suspects is long. Assistant Prosecutor Jana Berzelius soon realizes that the murder has something to do with her own background and decides to participate in the investigation. While attending a boy's autopsy, she notices a familiar scar on his neck. Marks are carved into his flesh, triggering a flash of memory in her own dark childhood. To get closer to the truth of her own horrific hidden past, she must find the perpetrator behind these murders before the police do.

The origin, with the mysterious touch, of the story is unfortunately poorly developed. If I leave that aside for a moment, I was still captivated by a crime series of Swedish quality with a number of familiar faces. This series at least differed positively from the regular crime series. There was also some nice camera work here and there. Given the final scene, a second season could be a possibility, but in my opinion it can only be interesting if, in addition to the events from season 1, a completely new case lands on Jana's desk.
