Harry Houdini: master magician, escape artist, born penniless and now the highest paid artist in the world and he wants everyone to know that. He refuses to believe in the paranormal. As a professional magician and master of the illusion, he knows that there is nothing supernatural. For him, anything inexplicable is a trick, gimmick, or fraud. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is the creator of the greatest detective of all time - Sherlock Holmes - as well as a passionate believer in the paranormal. Because, after he lost a loved one, he desperately wants to find a way to communicate with him. This fundamental difference between the two men leads to conflict, humor and competition.
