Townies plot

Friends Carrie, Shannon and Denise grow up together in a fishing town on the east coast of the United States. They are in their mid-twenties and all three work as waitresses, but really wish they had more in their lives than that. Each of the ladies has her own unique personality. Carrie is the mediator of the group whose best friend Curt wants her for herself. Shannon is the craziest of the bunch, and Denise is newlywed and slightly neurotic. Together they find their way in life because they know that no matter what happens, they always have each other to fall back on.
