Sick of It plot

Karl, a middle-aged man who works as a taxi driver, has recently been dumped by his girlfriend. The two have been a couple for a long time and the breakup is quite a blow to Karl. He moves in with his elderly aunt and tries to get his life back on track. His best friend is the voice he hears in his head; a bleak and misanthropic alter ego who takes the form of his doppelganger. This doppelganger says everything the real Karl can't or won't say.
