Six people with ambitions to work in Hollywood, as a writer or actor, work for the catering company 'Party Down' pending their breakthrough. Here, as a team, they cater for various parties while looking for work in Hollywood. At these parties they bring snacks to the sometimes well-known and special guests, who lead a multicolored life.
