On the Buses plot

Stan Butler is a bus driver for the Luxton & District Bus Company. He lives at home with his domineering mother, his sister Olive and his lazy brother-in-law Arthur. He works with his best friend Jack. Stan and Jack often talk to the cafeteria staff. The scourge of Stan's life is Inspector Blakey Blake, who controls them and often threatens them with dismissal for delay and indifference.
