Ma, Heps, Pua, Liz, and Taaps are a group of twentysomethings with a Māori or Pacific Islander background. They live in Wellington, New Zealand, share a flat, and go out together frequently. They struggle with their cultural identity, but also often with each other. They regularly discuss their love lives and their attempts to start a career, or at least find a job.
