iZombie plot

Olivia "Liv" Moore was a healthy, disciplined, driven medical assistant who had her life path completely mapped out...until the night she went to a party that unexpectedly turned into a zombie feeding frenzy. Now that she's a med zombie sudent, and she's landed a job in one of the coroner's offices to gain access to the brains she reluctantly must eat to maintain her humanity, but with every brain she eats , she absorbs the memories of the corpse. With the help of her coroner boss and a police detective, she solves murders to silence the voices in her head.

Onzin hehe , als je van series zoals Buffy The Vampire Slayer of Veronica Mars (zelfde creator en een soortgelijke voice-over) houdt is dit erg goed. Kritiek wat je zou kunnen geven is dat de case of the week de doorlopende storyline in de weg zit soms. Naarmate het seizoen vordert komt er echter steeds meer ruimte voor die doorlopende storyline en wordt het spannend en onvoorspelbaar, met een leuke mix tussen humor, drama en actie, zoals het hoort bij dit soort series. Seizoen 2 weet de balans tussen case of the week en het doorlopende nog veel beter te vinden, de wereld die deze serie laat zien is nu al rijk aan karakterontwikkeling, eigen terminologie en een goed neergezette sfeer.

Nonsense hehe , if you like series like Buffy The Vampire Slayer or Veronica Mars (same creator and a similar voice-over) this is very good. Criticism you could give is that the case of the week sometimes gets in the way of the ongoing storyline. However, as the season progresses, there is more and more room for that ongoing storyline and it becomes exciting and unpredictable, with a nice mix of humor, drama and action, as befits this type of series.

Season 2 manages to find the balance between case of the week and the ongoing even better, the world that this series shows is already rich in character development, own terminology and a well-defined atmosphere.
