I Ship It plot

After a devastating breakup with her lover, Ella Spencer enlists her roommate and best friend Tim to help her get revenge on her ex. The two of them, along with a couple of forced interns, form a band with hopes of beating her ex-boyfriend in the nerd-rock contest Battle of the Bands. However, as budding romances among band members begin to escalate, Ella is forced to choose between her new-found musical success and her next relationship.
