In a world where hunters (human warriors with supernatural powers) must battle deadly monsters, a notoriously weak hunter named Sung Jin-woo finds himself in a seemingly endless battle for survival. One day, after barely surviving an overwhelming force, a mysterious program grants Jin-woo the unique ability to ascend in power. He also unlocks a deeper ability to turn anyone he kills into a loyal follower. Jin-woo then sets out on a journey, battling all manner of enemies, both human and monster, to discover the secrets of the world and the true source of his powers.
