Bodem plot
Drama series about the single and destructive life of Cat, who tries to survive in a world that continues while hers comes to a standstill when she experiences a great loss. She then only wants one thing and that is to disappear. Everyone around her is busy with careers, settling down, babies and buying houses, and Cat doesn't feel like doing that at all. But is disappearing the solution?

In typical British tradition, the 6-part Bodem is a sparkling drama by and with the versatile Eva Crutzen. Crutzen plays Cat, an annoyingly immature woman of almost 40. Jokes are presented at a rapid pace - sharp, lame, villainous, rude, non-verbal, vulgar, visual - with, as it should be, underlying sadness and pain for the main character. Bottom is fast and a lot: a modern, slightly absurdist parable, a romantic comedy and a satire on wandering thirty-somethings. Inspired by Fleabag - and the British series Pure, I May Destroy You and Cheaters are also references - Bodem is a fine comedy with an edge. Made by an extremely talented filmmaker.
