Based on a True Story plot
Real estate agent Ava Bartlett and her husband Nathan have run into trouble. Nathan has lost his job and the couple are expecting a baby. After a serial killer, the Westside Ripper, strikes again, crime aficionado Ava has an idea. She wants to find the killer with Nathan and use America's obsession with killers to make some money. However, as they get closer to their target, they face dangerous consequences.
