The Sympathizer plot

The Sympathizer is about the struggles of a half French, half Vietnamese communist spy during the closing days of the Vietnam War and his ensuing exile in the United States. While living in a community of South Vietnamese refugees, he continues to secretly spy on the community and report to the Viet Cong, struggling between his original loyalties and his new life.
