Don't Pick Up the Phone plot

True crime story of a fake caller targeting fast food restaurants across America posing as a police officer investigating a robbery. The caller instructed managers to search the young female employees he said were suspects; what started as a humiliation escalated into sexual abuse for many victims. When the bogus caller calls a McDonald's in Kentucky's Mount Washington, a rookie detective makes it his mission to catch him. With testimonials from detectives, victims and the people who were tricked into committing crimes.
