Shantaram plot
In the 1980s, Australian Lindsay 'Lin' Ford escapes prison, where he is serving a 19-year sentence for armed robbery. The fugitive and former drug addict travels to Bombay, where Lin is unknown and fights to avoid the problems he is on the run from. After falling for an enigmatic and intriguing woman named Karla, Lin must choose between freedom or love and the complications that come with it.
