On one of the Ox Islands in Denmark's Flensburg Fjord, a German and a Danish family have created an idyllic life. However, when one of the children falls overboard during a boat trip and is not found, their lives are turned upside down. Long-hidden secrets are revealed, friendships are undermined and the paradise they've built slowly begins to fall apart.
