Walker: Independence plot

Late 19th century. Abby Walker's husband is murdered in front of her while they are traveling to the West. On her quest for revenge, Abby crosses paths with Hoyt Rawlins. Abby and Hoyt's journey takes them to Independence, Texas, where they meet the noble Independence deputy sheriff, Augustus, and his new boss, Sheriff Tom Davidson, who she has reason to believe is a very bad man. Abby and Hoyt soon find themselves in a dangerous position, as both try to uncover the truth about the identity of Abby's husband's killer, and vow to save Independence - a frontier town where nothing is as it seems.
