Family Law plot

In Vancouver, lawyer and recovering alcoholic Abigail "Abby" Bianchi struggles to get her career and family back on track. As a condition of her probation, Abby is forced to work at her estranged father's company, Svensson and Associates. She has to work in family law for the first time, while forging new relationships with her half-brother and half-sister whom she hadn't met before. The result is a dysfunctional family law firm that helps other families with their own dysfunctions.
