Slasher season 1

Surprisingly fun horror soap that falls short on a number of fronts but remains entertaining enough to keep following. Somewhere around episode 2 I made a guess who the killer would be and it turned out to be true. In short, every cliche is met but I forgive them gladly because the series was made with a lot of fun.

The acting is decent, just like the story and the kills are still quite creative. Delicious pulp entertainment after a long working day.

Nice!
And on to season 2

Now available on Netflix

Slasher season 2

Quite doable, especially indeed the flashbacks that give a little more meaning to the story. It takes a while before everything gets going (including the slasher/horror part, at most twenty seconds in the first episode?) but then it finds its way. Even with pretty hard kills. Kind of laughable how fast their friends get over that all the time (and where do they put all those corpses?) but okay, for a slasher forgivable of course.

There are very typical characters, but for example those Glenn and Mark have succeeded, especially given their history. Not a great series but entertaining.

Slasher season 1

Very bad, clichéd and predictable series.

Some shopping was done at Se7en, Scream and Halloween, but unfortunately the level was not copied. On the contrary, this seems like it was written by a toddler, there are so many illogical and inconsistent events in it. The acting also doesn't seem to resemble anything and never a good atmosphere or any tension is created.

Who the perpetrator is is quite unclear all the time. In the last episode some worn-out nonsensical backstory and a half-hearted twist are thrown in, but it doesn't get any better.

The highlight is actually the first scene of the first episode. Then it collapses and you can only hope against hope that it will turn out to be something. Mostly boring and at times cringeworthy.
