The series follows Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte on their journey from the complicated realities of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated realities of life and friendship in their 50s. These women face the trials of old age, the passage of time, and marriages that end in divorce. They also face growing up children, social pressures on appearance and success.
