Ten Year Old Tom plot
Ten-year-old Tom struggles with the questionable guidance offered by the seemingly well-meaning adults around him. Childhood is hard enough for Tom, but when bad influences seem to be waiting for him around every corner, from drug-dealing bus drivers to school principals wanting to sleep with his mother, it makes it very difficult to remain a child. Every adult in their life seems to have good intentions, but they simply cannot lead by example.
