Nice! Nice setting, beautiful flashbacks and a nice light-hearted story. Look away easily.
It is, however, advisable to keep somewhat of the intended order.
Apart from (in my opinion a bit too cheesy ending with the too easy winning against hordes of bad guys, the lack of even a cop and Jack's swordplay) it was a great series!

Of the four Marvel series that came out last year, I was least looking forward to Hawkeye. It's just not an interesting character in the Avenger movies. Only when I heard the rumors that Yelena, one of the nicest new Marvel characters, is prominent in this series, I decided to give it a chance. No regrets!
Hawkeye is also the easiest series to follow. The pace is quite high and there are few sci-fi/fantasy elements like in WandaVision and Loki. I do recommend watching Endgame and Black Widow before you start here. Renner was very good in this series, and finally brought some good to the Hawkeye character. Steinfield is also a great addition to the MCU. In short, positively surprised!
