The Golden State Killer: It's Not Over plot

In the late 1970s, the city of Sacramento in the Golden State of California is harassed by a serial rapist, but later his DNA is found in other small towns in similar cases. And it will be even longer before he switches to brutal murders. After narrowly escaping several times, he seems to have stopped for good. But then he strikes one more time, this time with a much younger victim. Various victims, relatives, detectives and hobbyists have their say here and investigate the perpetrator in their own way.

Very interesting docu-series, especially because a number of figures (hobbyists or professionals) make a number of predictions here that have not come true at all. Shortly after the broadcast of this docuseries, the actual perpetrator was arrested (JJDA) and turned out to be a cop, rather than someone in construction or whatever theory there was.

I've only seen the last 2 episodes, but it was very easy to go along with the reasoning, so it's pretty spooky. You could also easily connect other serial killers from the same era, but in the end you can't rely on much more than DNA, fingerprints, blood and the like.

No rating, but would like to see the whole series again. Must see!
