Helen West plot
Helen West is a prosecutor with a special sense of justice and an unwavering faith in the justice system. She is particularly interested in cases where women are victims of violence, but she rarely manages to convince her boss of the importance of these cases. Helen sometimes struggles to get the frightened victims on the stand, and her boss thinks Helen should drop the cases as soon as the victims don't show up in court. And while Helen is aware that it's the police's job to find evidence, she doesn't shy away from investigating herself every now and then – sometimes with shocking consequences.
