Ana plot
The daughter of a Mexican pageant winner tries to become a Hollywood star while battling aging and her own mother's unfulfilled dreams. As a child, Ana was trained to become famous, beautiful and eternally young. "We women become invisible as soon as we turn 40" was the expression of her demanding mother. In pursuit of a leadership role that would enable her to succeed in Hollywood, she realizes that her life is ruled by appearance.
