Le Passager plot

Mathias Freire is a psychiatrist in Bordeaux. He hasn't found his work so fascinating and inspiring for some time now. That changes when one day he receives a mysterious new client at his office. The man has lost his memory overnight and is thus now a 'passenger without luggage'. It soon becomes clear that he was found unconscious close to the scene of an extremely violent murder. To his own surprise, Mathias begins to identify more and more with his client. In time, he even gets the oppressive feeling that he himself had something to do with the murder. Mathias does everything in his power to help the man regain his memory - and find out what his own role is in the increasingly complex story.
