Barriga de Aluguel plot
The couple Ana and Zeca Alencar desperately want a child. dr. However, Alvaro Barone has bad news for Ana: she will never be able to have children. Barone suggests that the couple look for a surrogate mother. The nightclub dancer Clara is interested in this and sees an opportunity for the future: with the money she can realize her dream of a better future. During the pregnancy, Clara becomes increasingly attached to her unborn child, and after a complicated delivery, she refuses to give her child to Ana. With all the (legal) consequences that entails.
