Private detective Frank Hathaway has always worked alone, but recently he has had money problems and is no longer in the best physical condition. He actually needs someone like Lu: a former hairdresser with tons of people skills, only he doesn't know it yet. Eventually, the two join forces to form a unique and amusing detective duo.
