What's Happening Now! plot

Childhood friends Roger "Raj" Thomas, Dwayne Nelson and Freddie "Rerun" Stubbs have grown up but still keep in touch. Raj has started working as a writer. In addition, he now owns 50% of Rob's Place, which is now only called Rob's. Together with Shirley, he runs the business and hopes to earn enough money to offer his new wife Nadine a good life. Dwayne has become a computer programmer and Rerun works as a used car salesman. Raj and Nadine live in Raj's childhood home, and Rerun and Dwayne share an apartment.
