Who's the Boss? plot

Tony Micelli and his daughter Samantha live in a rather rough neighborhood in New York. After the death of his wife, Tony is left alone in raising his daughter and decides she needs a better environment. They therefore move to Connecticut, where Tony has found a job as a housekeeper for Angela Bower's family. Angela is at first quite surprised by the arrival of Tony since her mother Mona has hired him. She actually prefers a female housekeeper, but in the end she agrees. Tony and Samantha have a hard time adjusting to life in Connecticut and to the members of the family.
