Crime, love, murder and betrayal come together in Rotterdam during the nine days that a large vulture flies over the city. No one knows where the bird comes from or what it is looking for, but eventually the arrival of the animal will affect the lives of some people. So is the life of Victor, a 60-year-old architect, who has just learned that he is terminally ill. After eye contact with the vulture, a search for his past begins. The apparently happy relationship between stockbroker Peter and his girlfriend Esther is put to the test when Esther comes into contact with Victor. There is a threat over the city, a shadow of murder and betrayal. Floating above the city, the vulture brings the stories together.
