Accidentally on Purpose plot
Billie is a San Francisco film critic in her thirties. Billie meets Zack, an aspiring chef in his twenties, at a local bar and they have a one-night stand. She soon finds out she is pregnant and decides to keep the baby. She has to deal with her boss and ex-boyfriend James at the same time, who is jealous of Zack. Before the story began, she'd hoped James would propose to her, but he wasn't ready because he'd been married before. Due to the unplanned pregnancy, Billie and Zack decide to live together platonic.
