Childhood's End plot

One day, a fleet of alien spaceships arrives on Earth. These "Overlords" are led by a certain Karellen. The aliens say they have peaceful intentions, they would like to help humanity. In the following years, the planet changes forever. Wars and famines no longer exist. Diseases have been eradicated and all people can live in prosperity. But there are also people who wonder what the secret is behind this new utopian society.
