What must it have been like to live as a young boy during World War II? Evert is a 13-year-old boy who, like many other young people, vlogs on Youtube and has an Instagram channel where he talks about his life. But Evert is not like all those other youngsters. Evert lives in 1945. Evert takes the viewer along in the adventures from that time. Evert's brother, Joris, is hiding from the Germans. Together with his brother Klaas, Evert goes looking for him. But a lot of things happen along the way, which does not make the journey any easier.
