Vreemde Praktijken plot

Bertus de Vries is a true Rotterdammer. This toaster and touter is always out to make money with his own company 'Bertus' Occasionpaleis'. Trading is not always successful and not always fair. He rents out his upstairs apartment to Lex Tiggelaar and Laurens-Jan Bolsenbroek Jr., son of lawyer Mr. Bolsenbroek Sr. The two have just graduated and find living and office space at Bertus. Because they are legally trained, they are regularly at odds with Bertus, because of course they know better.
