Our Zoo plot

British ex-serviceman George Mottershead still suffers from the shocking experiences he had during the First World War. One day he sees a monkey, which is locked in a quarantine cage. This gives him an idea that will become a life's work: George wants to build the first zoo in his country without bars. He starts collecting animals that no one wants. Soon the house in which George lives with his parents, wife and two daughters becomes too small.
